Welcome to Saffron Walden Town Council

COVID-19 Updates - SWTC is following government advice and recommendations with regards to conducting normal council business.

Message from Saffron Walden Town Mayor, Cllr Arthur Coote:
I am overwhelmed by the community strength, courage and determination that has come to the fore during these very difficult times. Individuals, groups, friends, volunteers all working together to help and support our most vulnerable at a time of need.

Where to get Help and Support

The Council for Voluntary Services (CVSU) and UDC has set up a dedicated service to identify those in need and to co-ordinate the volunteer help to support them. If you need help or wish to offer your services, please contact CVSU:

Email: [email protected]
Tel: 03333 408 2118 (8am to 8pm Monday to Friday)

The Town Council has registered its support and availability to the CVSU, we have people and vans to help and support with whatever we are called to do.

A full range of business support measures have been made available to UK businesses and employees.

This page helps businesses find out how to access the support that has been made available, who is eligible, when the schemes open and how to apply: https://www.businesssupport.gov.uk/coronavirus-business-support/
