Pop Up Start Up Market

As part of the funding awarded to Saffron Walden Town Council from the Government’s Shared Prosperity Scheme we are continuing to support  small startup business in the Uttlesford area, the next market will be a Spectacular Spring Makers Market, taking place in Saffron Walden Town Hall on Saturday 6^th April. We would like to encourage crafters and makers in the Uttlesford area to apply for a pitch.

Pitches include a table, chairs and insurances, thanks to the awarded funding, meaning new traders will only need to bring their stock, float, food and drink.

Please note this project is to primarily support businesses and traders in the Uttlesford District area, those interested outside the District are still invited to get in touch and can be added to the waiting list.

SWTC’s first ‘Pop Up Start Up Market’ on Thursday, 26 October was a huge success despite the wet weather. New traders from across Uttlesford showcased their products, and for some it was their first time trading at a market.   They had a wonderful time and are keen to attend more of these events. Said one trader, “We had a fantastic day meeting customers new and old. The way the market was run was amazing and very professional.”
