Weddings and Receptions at the Town Hall
Saffron Walden Town Hall is a beautiful building which was built in 1761 and is in a central location in the town which is licenced for weddings and civil partnerships.
The Garden is located on the north side of town and has been described as a hidden gem. It is a restored Victorian garden made up of a number of small interconnecting gardens. It can be access from Bridge Street or Castle Street.
The TIC is situated on the Market Square, CB10 1HR and is open Mon-Sat 9.30am-5pm, Bank Holidays 10.30am-1pm (until the end of August), closed on Sundays.
Saffron Walden is a delightful medieval market town located in North West Essex. There are many independent shops and cafes which nestle amongst a wealth of beautiful historic buildings.
Our Market was voted Best Small Outdoor Market 2018 and sells fruit, vegetables, olives, coffee, flowers, bread, plants, fish, clothes and much more. It is held twice weekly on Tuesdays and Saturdays on the Market Square.
Almost all matters relating to our highways, whether affecting the roads or the pavements, pedestrians, cyclists or motorists, is under the control of Essex County Council through their Highways department, and any action to be taken or changes to be made must therefore be done by ECC Highways.
