Town Hall Weddings and Receptions

Saffron Walden Town Hall is a beautiful building which was built in 1761 and is in a central location in the town.  It is licensed for weddings and civil partnerships.  There are three rooms available for wedding ceremonies;  the grand Assembly Hall, majestic Court Room or intimate Council Chamber.  Prices start from £350 with rooms available for 2 – 120 guests; we have spaces suitable for ceremonies of all sizes.

If you wish to hold your wedding ceremony and reception at the Town Hall we can help you arrange your big day with prices around £2,000 for exclusive hire.

Wedding Receptions at Bridge End Garden

The Victorian Kitchen Garden at Bridge End Garden makes an exquisite reception venue.  Photographs can be taken in both the Rose Garden and Dutch Garden with fountain and clipped hedges as a backdrop.  Guests can have fun in the hedge maze or just enjoy the unique surroundings of Bridge End Garden which boasts 6.6 acres of delightful carefully maintained grounds.

Whether in a marquee, a quirky Tipi, or even in the open air, in Spring or Summer this breath-taking Victorian setting offers a backdrop of blossom and roses in bloom to guarantee an unforgettable, magical experience.  Prices start from £3,100 for venue hire and we are happy to assist with arranging suppliers for your big day if you so wish.
