Town Council Welcomes New TIC Manager

Saffron Walden Town Council is delighted to welcome Mr Richard Corby to the team as the newly appointed Manager at the Tourist Information Centre (TIC).  Town Clerk Lisa Courtney says, ‘Following a tough and rigorous interview process, we are thrilled to welcome Richard to the team.  He brings a wealth of knowledge, skills and experience in community services and retail and it’s great to have him on board.’

Richard Corby says, ‘I’m delighted to be joining the TIC team in Saffron Walden, and excited to have the opportunity to both promote and support a community that I really care about.’

In offering his support to Richard, Town Mayor Cllr Ahmed says, ‘The Council acknowledges and appreciates the importance of the TIC service to residents and visitors alike.  It’s great to have Richard at the helm of this service as we continue to develop and improve the service offering’.
