Tourist Information Centre Manager Vacancy
Saffron Walden Town Council seeks an energetic, enthusiastic and motivated individual with a pragmatic, can-do attitude to lead the Tourist Information Centre (TIC) in Saffron Walden.
Saffron Walden Tourist Information Centre (TIC) is the ‘go to place’ for information, advice and guidance for residents and visitors alike. It is also a busy retail space, selling products from local artists and manufacturers and acts as a box office for several local organisations.
Working as part of the wider Town Council team, the Manager will support, lead and guide the TIC service in delivering existing services whilst looking at opportunities to enhance the current offer.
We seek a proven leader with a passion for retail and excellent communication skills. The successful candidate will be highly organised with a creative flair and experience in managing people and projects, along with an innovative approach to driving sales.

Flexible working is a pre-requisite, to include some weekend working (Saturdays) on a rota basis.
