At the Town Council’s meeting on 15 May it was agreed the Mayor of Saffron Walden 2023/24 is Councillor Heather Asker who was previously Mayor in 2015/16 and 2020/21. Councillor Deryk Eke is Deputy Mayor. Heather’s chosen charities are Fairycroft House Arts and Media Centre & The Saffron Walden Youth Outreach Project.
Mayor Making will take place from 11am on Saturday, 17 June at St Mary’s Church to which members of the public are welcome to attend.
