Successful Easter Craft Event

Successful Easter Craft Event Brings Community Together!

Saffron Walden Town Council (SWTC) is delighted to share the success of its Easter Craft event held in the Town Hall last Thursday. With 145 children and their families joining us, SWTC would like to thank the community for their support. It was a great day full of creativity and Easter holiday fun.

Thank you to Uttlesford Community Action Network (UCAN) volunteers for their help on the day. The face painting with Rainbow Robin was also a big hit!

Children enjoyed activities such as creating Easter baskets (and adding chocolate eggs!), colouring in Easter felt bookmarks and designing their own Easter eggs. The Mayor, Cllr Ahmed and Deputy Mayor, Cllr Curtis also joined in the fun and chose the colouring competition winners from three age categories.
