Volunteers’ Week 2023 – why not join your Hospice team?
National Volunteers’ Week is from 1st – 7th June when we celebrate the contribution of volunteers across the country.
St Clare Hospice is thanking the more than 600 volunteers who support the charity across all their teams, in charity shops, the community and the Hospice sites in Hastingwood and Saffron Walden.
The charity needs more people with a range of skills and knowledge to join their volunteering team. So, however much time you can spare, they’ll find a role to suit you.
For more information, and to see the current list of roles available, visit: stclarehospice.org.uk/volunteer or call the team directly on 01279 773704 or email volunteer@stclarehospice.org.uk

St Clare Hospice is a charity providing specialist palliative care for people living with terminal or life-limiting illnesses across West Essex and East Herts border.
St Clare care for patients and their families, providing physical, emotional, social, psychological and spiritual support, and ensuring they have timely access to skilled, compassionate and sensitive care in a place of their choice. Our services are free of charge to those who need our care, but cost around £5 million a year to run. With limited NHS funding we need to fundraise the majority of this each year through donations and other voluntary sources.
