Lisa Courtney, Town Clerk said, “We are incredibly proud to be named a finalist in the Star Council Awards. This recognition is a testament to the hard work, dedication and commitment of everyone involved in delivering for our community. To be shortlisted at a national level is a real honour.”
Said the Town Mayor, Cllr Ahmed, “Being a NALC Star Council Awards finalist is a fantastic achievement and I am proud to represent and support the community of Saffron Walden”.
Winners will be announced at NALC’s Parliamentary Reception on 24 February 2026 at the House of Lords, where finalists from across the country will come together to celebrate excellence in the parish and town council sector.
