Saffron Walden Town Council continues to help and support Uttlesford Food Bank. The impact of Covid-19 on our community has been immense with the Food Bank seeing an increase in the number of residents using their services. In April, the Town Council made a commitment to support the Foodbank and agreed to purchase food for delivery to the warehouse. The Food Bank provides the Town Council with a regular “shopping list” of items required, that way we can ensure that the items purchased meet the most practical and necessary needs.
