Saffron Walden Town Council would like to thank Saffron Walden Rotary for their donation of 4000 ‘Ruby Giant’ Crocus bulbs, marking the Rotary’s 100-year anniversary next year. The bulbs were recently planted by the Rotary, with the Friends of Bridge End Garden and Bridge End Garden Operatives.
Said a SWTC spokesperson “Congratulations to the Rotary on their upcoming 100th year. Be sure to visit the Walled Garden late February/March 2025 to see the Crocuses growing along the centre path, hinting at the end of the cold and dark months with a vibrant purple carpet.”
