Mayor Reminds Residents: You Could Win a Family Ticket Package to Gardeners’ World and Support her Charities!

The Mayor of Saffron Walden, Cllr Jeanette Curtis, is reminding residents and visitors to enter a raffle in support of her chosen charities, with the chance to win a family set of four tickets to Gardeners’ World on Sunday 13 September 2026.

The lucky winner will receive tickets for four people to enjoy a fantastic day at the event at Audley End House, on Sunday 13 September, making it the perfect prize for gardening enthusiasts and families alike.

Raffle entries are £5 and you can enter at the Saffron Walden Tourist Information Centre. The competition closes on Friday 4 September, when the winning entry will be notified.

A message from the Mayor: “There isn’t long left to enter, so get yourselves signed up before next Friday to be in with a chance of winning! Good luck and thank you for supporting my charities: Together in Sound, The Garden Youth Music Project and Teenage Kicks Plantation Youth Football Club. Every little bit makes a huge difference.”

The Mayor also wishes to remind residents that tickets are now on sale for her fundraising event ‘Twistin’ the Night Away’, a night of 60’s music and dancing on Friday 18 September, at the Town Hall. Tickets for this are £10 and can also be purchased from the Tourist Information Centre.
