The Jubilee Hub Partnership last Tuesday 21 May, welcomed the community to celebrate its 1st year anniversary & official opening.  Community groups and residents joined in the lunchtime celebration at Jubilee Hub which included fizz and canapes on arrival, official ribbon cutting by Deputy Mayor, Cllr Ahmed and a joyful ‘singing for the soul’ sing-along.  It was also an opportunity for community groups to rekindle partner relationships and make new connections.

A SWTC spokesperson said, “The Jubilee Hub Partnerships would like to thank Revd John Goddard for his welcome speech, Fairycroft House for the loan of the PA system, Ben Smith for his background music / singing, community groups who took part and residents who attended.  It was a wonderful occasion, enjoyed by all”.

A Saffron Walden Library spokesperson added, “What a great mix of passionate speakers, singers, stall holders, volunteers and service users.  You all put an awful lot of work into this. A big thank you to the Enterprise East catering students who brought joy through singing and delicious snacks with them”.
