Artwork on display at Jubilee Hub

Saffron Walden Town Council (SWTC) is pleased to announce that it has commissioned Saffron Walden Art Society to display its members’ work in Jubilee Hub, 3 Hill Street, Saffron Walden, CB10 1EH.  The society is run for the benefit of all local artists, from professional to absolute beginners, two of whom will have their work on display at any one time.  The first pieces were installed on 07 September and a changeover of artwork will take place every two months.  Each artist will display a biography and description of their work – and all pieces are for sale, unless otherwise stated, from approximately £30.00 to £300.00.  Said a SWTC spokesperson, “the artwork is a wonderful addition to this community space and we are delighted to be showcasing local talent.  We do hope residents take the opportunity to pop in and view the artwork”.

If you would like to synchronise a visit to view the artwork with one of the Jubilee Hub activity sessions, details of the weekly programme can be found here: www.facebook.com/jubileehubsaffronwalden.  Alternatively, an information board is situated by the front door of The Jubilee Hub.  All sessions are free and open to all the community on a drop-in basis – there is no need to book.  Tea and coffee provided.  Everyone welcome.
