The ‘Modern Mythologies’ artwork installation by Walter & Zoniel is coming to Saffron Walden this week.  It is one part of a giant colourful artwork installed across five Essex towns.  The installation in Jubilee Garden (on the grass), takes place this Friday 8^th and when completed at approximately 6pm can be viewed  thereafter – and over the coming weeks; it will gradually fade.  It is a poem inspired by cherished memories, personal tales, and deep-rooted connections to the county and those submitted from the town’s residents have inspired the ‘Saffron Walden’ installation. You might be interested to know that the paint being used is a water-based, biodegradable and environmentally-friendly product (non-harmful to humans, animals or the environment).

The poetic masterpiece will be captured from the air via drones, as the artwork will be meticulously photographed and filmed, offering a bird’s-eye view of the artwork and poetry. It will be live on the project website from Monday 11 September.
