SWTC has just delivered a sizable food order to Uttlesford Foodbank.  Purchased from the local Aldi store, it was bought with the remaining funds awarded to SWTC from the ‘Food support and winter warmth essentials fund’.  A Town Council spokesperson says “it was a pleasure to secure this funding to support local charities – and the local community.  Thank you to the Management team at Aldi, Saffron Walden, for their help with loading the van, twice!”

The £4,000.00 fund administered by Essex County Council – was split £3000.00 for food support and £1000.00 for winter warmth essentials.  SWTC was delighted to partner with Uttlesford Foodbank and Uttlesford Children’s Clothing Bank to facilitate this provision.
