Success for Saffron Walden Town Council’s Easter holiday crafts workshop in The Town Hall!

A huge success for last Thursday’s Easter craft workshop.  With over 150 children and their families dropping into The Town Hall, SWTC would like to thank the community for their support.  Thank you to Uttlesford District Council for grant funding support towards youth activities and to Uttlesford Community Action Network (UCAN) volunteers for their help on the day.  The face painting was also a success as part of the Spring into Walden

The Deputy Mayor, Cllr Jubeyuir Ahmed joined in the fun and chose the winners from three age categories for the colouring competition.  Congratulations to the winners and the ‘name the rabbit’ winner.  Waitrose Saffron Walden kindly donated the Easter egg prizes – any prizes still to be collected are held at the Tourist Information Centre, open 9.30am – 4pm (Monday – Saturday).  If you attended and have any feedback please email events@saffronwalden.gov.uk or in person at the Tourist Information Centre.
