Saffron Walden Town Council is inviting residents to get involved in making roads safer by seeking volunteers to establish a Community Speed Watch (CSW) Group in Saffron Walden.
CSW Groups are formed of volunteers, with training and support provided by the Safer Essex Road Partnership (SERP).
CSW Groups require at least 10 volunteers and one appointed co-ordinator, with monitoring taking place in groups of 3 at two or three designated 30 or 40mph areas, More information on CSW Groups can be found at https://saferessexroads.org/communities/
If residents are interested in becoming a CSW Volunteer please register your interest by emailing enquiries@saffronwalden.gov.uk by Wednesday 16 July and SWTC will be in contact with further details in liaison with SERP.
