Finding help and support this winter
www.uttlesfordfrontline.org.uk is a website you can use to search and identify local services and make a self-referral – this means you get the support you need more quickly.
The website is easy to use – look for services by entering key words into the search area.
For example, typing in ‘COLD’ will bring up all the local organisations that provide cold weather support, including help to apply for winter benefits and home improvement grants, plus energy efficiency advice, information on oil clubs, switching suppliers and handyman services.
Home insulation and boiler replacements
Funding is available for owner occupiers and private tenants offering insulation measures and boiler replacements for householders on qualifying benefits, or who are on a low income and have certain health conditions.
