Review of Polling Districts and Places 2019 by Uttlesford District Council

Review of Polling Districts and Places 2019 – Consultation with Town and Parish Councils – Have your say!
Uttlesford District Council have today commenced a review of our electoral polling arrangements. Uttlesford is divided into Polling Districts and designates a portion of our total electorate to vote in one Polling Place.
Every effort is made to ensure that polling stations are accessible to all, and whilst it can be difficult to find the perfect premises and to secure permission to use them, the Council aims to find the best possible solution.
This review will explore whether the current arrangements still appropriately serve the needs of electors, or whether they should be updated. We invite your comments and suggestions to assist us in completing this review as we hope to improve accessibility and suitability where possible, and improve democratic engagement across the District.
You can view the current polling district map, polling scheme listing the current polling places, and some statistics for each of the polling districts on the council website – visit https://www.uttlesford.gov.uk/polling-review-2019
