The Court Room was used as the Town’s Magistrates’ Court until 1979, when it was re-modelled. The room is approx. 10m x 8m and is suitable for a bar and reception when used in conjunction with the Assembly Room. It will seat approximately 40 people theatre style seated/standing.

It is a versatile space and can be used for meetings, wedding ceremonies and classes. The room can be set out to your requirements with refreshment facilities available on request.

It is located at the front of the building (north facing) on the first floor overlooking the market square.

NB The Court Room cannot be used separately if the Assembly Room is in use.
