I have great pleasure in inviting members of the parish council to the Annual General Meeting of Uttlesford Citizens Advice, which will be held at  2 pm on Tuesday 13th December at The Old School Community Centre,  Brewers End, Takeley, CM22 6SB , and would be grateful if you could share the attached invitation with your councillors.

This year, we are delighted to welcome Annmarie Frenchum, Macmillan Engagement Lead for Kent, Medway & Essex, to our meeting. Following the formal business, she will give a short presentation exploring Macmillan’s role in Essex.  Light refreshments will be available after the meeting, providing an opportunity to network with other guests.

We would appreciate it if you could let us know whether any councillors are planning to attend, together with any access requirements they may have.

Whilst writing, we are pleased to report we have received a fantastic response to our Crowdfunding Campaign – ‘Uttlesford Share the Warmth’.  These funds will bolster the emergency provision for people in fuel poverty which has already been generously provided by a number of district councillors.  Please feel free to share the link to our fundraising page with your community, as you feel appropriate, and encourage anyone who is struggling financially to contact us –  there is help and support available.
