A workshop with local organisations who are actively involved in all things related to tourism, art, culture, heritage etc. The meeting arose from a conversation with Giles at Cultural Engine who is engaged by UDC to raise the profile of arts, culture etc in Uttlesford.
Giles has prepared a very draft brief/summary of my conversation with him and he has now set the date for the workshop as: Thursday 25th July 2024 – start time approx 6pm (tbc) and to last 2-3 hours. I am still confirming the specific timings with him.
I only include Cllr Eke as Mayor, Cllr de Vries as Chair of F & E, and Cllr Curtis as Chair of TIC WG. We will convey details of this workshop to the wider Council and indeed all will be welcomed to attend, but this email acts as early advice to you all and please put the date/time (tbc) in your diary. You are key players in the success of this event and for raising the profile of the work of the TIC and its importance to the local economy.
